Ircamar is a Puerto Rican dancer, choreographer, performer, and teacher. Her training background ranges from Classical Ballet to Modern and Contemporary Techniques, Jazz, Latin Dances, Theater, and worship through dance. She possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Theater Education from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Florida State University. During her 12 year artistic career in Puerto Rico, she worked with Hincapié Contemporary Dance Company under the artistic direction of Petra Bravo, Dramadanza Company directed by Waldo Gonzalez, and Ballet Brío under Rodney Rivera’s direction. Bringing people restoration and hope through dancing for the Lord Jesus Christ is one of her passions. She worked in Puerto Rico with Dánzale International Ministries, for whom she choreographed many works, including Salmo 27 and Alpha y Omega. She has performed internationally in Italy, Sicily, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and the United States. She is also an actress and a singer and has performed in musicals including Evita and the operetta Maria de Buenos Aires playing the leading role as “the shadow” of María. She is a certified Balanced Body Pilates Instructor as well.
