Brittany grew up in Plantation, Florida, where she received her formal dance training at Lisa's School of Dance and Gymnastics. While there, she was trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Acro. Brittany danced competitevly at many levels for 11 years, dancing a total of 13 years before moving to Tallahassee, Florida. Upon graduating high school, she attended Tallahassee Community College before transferring to Florida State University where she graduated with honors, earning her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. It was during her time in college that Brittany joined the staff of Wildwood Ballet where she is entering her twelfth year of teaching. She also serves as the Director of Jazz and Tap at Wildwood Ballet. Aside from teaching dance, Brittany is in her eighth year of teaching fifth grade at Hawks Rise Elementary School. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Mitchel, and is the proud mommy of a budding two year old dancer, Emma! She encourages those who enjoy upbeat worship and fellowship to try tap or jazz classes!
